Tanztheater Öflingen

Alexandr Azarkevitch, Ph.D. founded the Öflingen Dance Theater in the Haus der Diakonie Wehr-Öflingen.

He works internationally as a choreographer for many opera, musical, dance and theater stages , is a university lecturer in Germany and Poland, organizes and directs international festivals and regularly acts as a juror at theater, dance and choreography competitions internationally. In numerous projects, including in in Germany, Switzerland and France, he has developed broad expertise and a variety of methods in the field of inclusive choreography.

In his workshops, he gives participants a theoretical and practical approach to dance, choreography and dance theater. Participants are inspired to explore themselves and the space through movement. In the creative experimental field, they discover and expand their movement repertoire and their forms of expression. Once they have discovered their love of dance, they can later feel like artists on stage.
Professional dancers from Switzerland, France, Germany, Spain and Poland are invited to the inclusive dance performances of the Öflingen Dance Theater.

The Öflingen Dance Theater's productions enrich international events and festivals.
