Interested members of the day care center regularly use the art studio to experiment with different materials with assistance and to further develop their own formal language. The artists inspire each other and receive impulses from the management of the studio and workshops, the work in the lively gallery in the Haus der Diakonie and visits to exhibitions. The studio was set up shortly after the house opened in 1985. Many outstanding works have been created here over the decades. The studio has been managed by Johanna Müller since 2024. Johanna Müller is a writing artist and art therapist. She learned sculpture and studied language art, visual design and therapy. She has gained extensive experience in studios of clinics for psychosomatics, psychiatry and neurology. Texts from her therapeutic writing workshops have been published.
